Level Builder Tool

This tool was inspired by my collab project (Echoes of Imagination), where we had tile/grid based movement and since our game would have different levels with tiles that were either bridges or obstacles, I thought it’d be easier if there was a tool that you could just select the type of ‘tile’ or object and draw on like a grid to place the objects down and edit it using that, rather than drag out each tile individually or copy and paste it and create the level that way.

Project Planning
When planning out the scope, I decided to split the 8 weeks I had into 4 phases (research, planning, development, debugging). I orignally thought two weeks for each phase would be best, but as i planned it, I noticed some phases would not take as long as others. I also had to take into consideration of the collab module I was doing alongside this project so I had to allocate time accordingly. I did take it easy the first three weeks as I was

Although three weeks feels like a long time just for research, I had a lot of focus on my other collab project since there was weekly deadlines that needed to be met, and the time i had scoped out for the other phases allowed me to take it easy in the first few weeks for this module.
